Built in 2006, Blue Morpho Lodge in Peru was one of the first Ayahuasca healing centers open to international guests and features a custom indoor and outdoor maloca to enjoy the stars while in vision, listening to icaros next to the tree that inspired ‘Home Tree’ from the movie Avatar. You will stay in a hand-built bungalow and enjoy a private swimming lake, pool, and abundant wildlife. You can also discover forest bathing in our meditation spaces, and an open-air jungle shower beneath the canopy, where the night sky reveals the full beauty of the Milky Way.

Sacred Valley

At our Sacred Valley ‘Andean Haven’ retreat in Peru, stone pathways wind along a spring-fed stream through lush flower gardens. A natural waterfall graces the landscape. Guests gather in a glass-roofed ceremony house with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks, and a yoga shala is available for personal practice. Spa-style bathrooms feature stone-crafted showers with fresh eucalyptus leaves, handmade soaps, and essential oils. Sauna, steam, jacuzzi, and cold plunge complete the experience.

I have traveled to Blue Morpho five times and journeyed with Hamilton Souther, Master Shaman, at his retreat. In 2007 I read about Hamilton in National Geographic Discovery knew it was where I needed to go for the vision quest I had been searching for much of my adult life. For me at 50, I was relieved of a decade long depression and addiction to anti-depressants during my first visit to Blue Morpho. There is no better learning than by plant teachers and the lovely people at Blue Morpho facilitate a magical space for this healing, you won't be disappointed. If you have tried to let go of things and failed through traditional methods of talk therapy, this is a likely place for you to succeed. The accommodations and food are just what you need, I have made life long friends of some of the guests and Shaman who visit and work there. I have also experienced Aya ceremonies in the USA, not with Blue Morpho, and find the Blue Morpho experience far superior in both healing and personal evolution, in short, Blue Morpho is the real deal,.
