In over 5500 years of written human history, much has been said about God. There are as many conceptions of God as there are cultures, religions, and beliefs in the world. However, in the 21st century, we can see a shift towards unitary idea of God, where God is seen as an all-encompassing being or the Source that created all things and where all things ultimately find their end.
Moreover, it is not a rarity that people experience what we call “God consciousness”, a brief moment of ultimate connection with the divine source that can potentially transform one’s entire life for the better. But this moment, majestic and terrifying at once, can also paralyse the person and cause them to detach from reality out of fear of the unknown. That’s why it’s important to learn about the possibility of this experience, to arm ourselves with the knowledge about the Unknown, in order to be prepared for when it comes and to withstand its message in full. So let’s start. What is “God Consciousness” and what does it mean to experience it?
The concept of “God consciousness” or “divine consciousness” refers to a state of being in which an individual is thought to be fully connected to a divine or transcendent power or reality. This state is often described as a state of unity, oneness, or enlightenment, in which the individual experiences a deep sense of understanding, peace, and connection to the universe.
There are many different ways that people may seek to experience God consciousness, and the specific practices and beliefs associated with this concept can vary widely depending on an individual’s spiritual or religious traditions. Some people may seek to achieve God consciousness through practices such as meditation, prayer, or devotion, while others may believe that it can be attained through a sudden spiritual awakening or a profound religious experience.
It is important to note that the concept of God consciousness is highly subjective, and different people may have very different experiences and understandings of what it means to be connected to a divine or transcendent power. Some people may describe God consciousness as a feeling of intense love and compassion, while others may describe it as a sense of profound understanding or enlightenment. Ultimately, the experience of God consciousness is deeply personal, and depends on your own experience and inclination.
There are many different spiritual traditions that view the attainment of God consciousness as a central goal. In Hinduism, for example, the concept of “moksha” or “liberation” refers to the attainment of a state of enlightenment in which the individual becomes fully aware of their true nature as an eternal and divine being. In Buddhism, the concept of “nirvana” refers to a state of perfect peace and enlightenment that is achieved through the attainment of spiritual insight and the relinquishment of ego and desire.
In the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the concept of God consciousness may be understood in terms of a personal relationship with God or a state of divine grace. In these traditions, the attainment of God consciousness may be seen as a result of faith, devotion, and obedience to God’s will.
Regardless of the specific spiritual tradition, the attainment of God consciousness is often seen as a transformative experience that brings about profound changes in an individual’s perspective and understanding of the world. Those who have experienced God consciousness often describe it as a feeling of deep peace, joy, and contentment that pervades every aspect of their being. They may also describe it as a sense of connection to something greater than themselves, and a feeling of being guided by a higher purpose or meaning.
There are many different practices that people may engage in as part of their journey towards God consciousness. These practices can include meditation, prayer, devotion, service to others, and the study of spiritual texts. Some people may seek out the guidance of a spiritual teacher or mentor, while others may choose to embark on a solitary spiritual journey.
Regardless of the specific path that one takes, the journey towards God consciousness is a deeply personal one that involves a great deal of introspection and self-reflection. It requires a willingness to let go of ego and attachments, and to embrace a sense of humility and surrender.
For some, the attainment of God consciousness may be a gradual process that unfolds over the course of a lifetime. For others, it may be a sudden and profound experience that transforms their understanding of the world in a single moment. Regardless of the specific path that one takes, the experience of God consciousness can be a deeply rewarding and transformative one that touches every aspect of an individual’s being.
Here at the Blue Morpho Academy, we train people’s minds and bodies to be able to withstand the intensity of experiencing God Consciousness. We do so by carefully inspecting person’s inclinations, passions, and past experience, and model our training according to their personality. However, considering the importance and the seriousness of this moment, we make sure to explore every possibility and leave no stone unturned. That’s why we take a holistic approach to the attainment of God consciousness by training our guests to be proficient in physical methods (yoga, meditation, prayer, etc.) and cognitive methods (mindfulness, introspection, contemplation, etc.)
